Candy Apples
Ingredients

Apples
2
cups
Sugar
2/3
cups
Light Corn Syrup
1
cup
Water
Red Food Color
Instructions
Stir all ingredients (except apples) and bring to boil
Cook covered until steam has gotten rid of crystals
Uncover and cook until the candy reaches the hard crack stage (add a drop of liquid to test)
Add a few more drops of red food coloring
Place in a double boiler
Take stems out of apple and wash
Place stick in center
Take wax paper and dip apples and place upside down on wax paper
